Upcoming First Jeep Electric SUV Launching in (2023)
Jeep’s first fully-electric SUV will hit the road in 2023, Stellantis, the parent company of the brand, has announced. During a presentation in Amsterdam on Tuesday, Stellantis has a business plan for the next few years. And that plan depends on a huge shift towards making clean electric vehicles.
Jeep Electric SUV :
Jeep has released the first picture of all its electric SUVs. Although Jeep has some plug-in hybrids worldwide, it will be its first e-SUV. The only other information available now is that it will make its worldwide debut in 2023.
As seen in the earlier images, the still-named SUV is expected to make its public debut in early 2023, and it is expected to sit on sister company Citroen’s eCMP platform.
Jeep Electric SUV Design :
The upcoming Jeep E-SUV has a muscular bonnet, a closed seven-slot grille with a lower case “e”, a split-style headlamp with DRL, a wide hexagonal mesh with a sensor in the middle, and fog lights.
It is enclosed by a black-out B-column, ORVM, and designer wheel. The taillights with a bumper and X-shaped elements with black cladding make the rear edge better.
On the back, the square LED tail lamps with details like the X remind you of the Jeep’s small SUV, the Renegade. Outside of the overall design is a chunky rear bumper with a silver skid plate. What adds to the overall character of this concept is its bright yellow finish.
Jeep Electric SUV Interiors :
The 2023 Jeep Electric SUV is expected to have a luxurious cabin with multifunctional steering with head-up display, auto climate control, rear AC vent, parking sensor and cruise control.
Passenger safety should be ensured by multiple airbags, a rear-view camera, crash sensor, ABS and EBD. It will also feature a touchscreen infotainment console with support for the latest connectivity features.

Jeep Electric SUV Powertrain :
The upcoming Jeep model will be based on a compact modular platform and will draw power from an electric powertrain. However, details regarding the specification and power statistics will be released at a later date.
Jeep has only confirmed that its new EV will sit on the eCMP platform, which is also used by sister companies Citroen and Peugeot. Although more details will be revealed near the global launch of the Jeep model – a Jeep – one would expect to find a four-wheel drive variant in line with the off-road tradition of the all-new SUV Jeep.
Now, Jeep has yet to give us a glimpse of its interior or technical features However, we suspect that this may be based on one of Stalantis’ STLA platforms, which will be shared with group offers such as Citroen and Peugeot. More details will follow as we get closer to its launch timeline.
Jeep Electric SUV Range and Battery :
The new electric zip should be based on the STLA small platform of the Stalantis – part of the architecture of the STLA range that was announced in July 2021 at the EV Day of the Parent Compact Stalantis. If this is done based on this platform, the battery capacity of the SUV can range from 37kWh to 82kWh and provide a range of up to 500km.
